Discipleship Qualification Seminar. Monday, November 24, at 6:30 p.m. If you have been through First Steps, attend this two-hour seminar and you will be prepared to disciple another to love Jesus! Contact the church office or sign up on the Response Form in the bulletin.

2nd Half Outing. Join us for a day at historic Roscoe Village in Coshocton, Ohio. Saturday, December 13. Meet at Cinema 10 on E. Nation Road at 9:00 a.m. to car pool. The day consists of lunch at the Old Warehouse Restaurant, tour and video at the Visitors Center (cost $4.00), and enjoying an afternoon of strolling carolers, live reindeer, roasted chestnuts, complimentary hot-mulled cider and cookies and many other holiday festivities. Thanksgiving Outreach. Saturday Night Life and the Fellowship Food Pantry are partnering to feed 100 families this Thanksgiving. Please bring food donations and/or money donations to church on November 8-9, 15-16, and 22-23. Everyone encouraged to participate - help us bless Springfield families in need! Prayer. We invite you to come and spend two hours with the Lord this weekend. What is this? A prayer movement sparked from the Impact World Tour that we plan to carry on until January 2, 2009! At Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Wittenberg’s campus (N. Fountain Ave.). Two hours anytime between Thursday midnight to Saturday at midnight. Anyone can come - those who have been praying for years, new Christians, youth groups, musicians.

City-wide Prayer. November’s prayer event will be held Nov. 20, at 7:00 p.m. at el Bethel church which is located at 2049 Clifton Avenue on the corner of Clifton and Auburn across from the Small Business Development Center on Clifton (two blocks behind Wendy’s on S. Limestone).

Operation Christmas Child. This Christmas you can share the love and hope of Jesus Christ with a needy child in a country like Uganda, El Salvador or Kosovo by using a simple shoe box. Operation Christmas Child in conjunction with Samaritan’s Purse is an easy missions project that every member and family can participate in by bringing in a gift filled shoebox to the church on or before Sunday, November 23. Missions Adventure. Any student grades 8-12 interested in a Missions Adventure this summer: There is an informational meeting on Sunday, November 23, after FIRST and SECOND Service for Parents and Students in the Worship Warehouse.
Operation Gratitude. During the month of November, our children’s ministry is holding a food can drive for our Fellowship Food Pantry. Donations will be collected in the classrooms through November 20.
